Preserving an archaeological reserve instead of building a residential complex on a burial ground: the court decides the fate of Kitaevo.

At the same time, the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, together with the public, are trying to preserve a unique archaeological monument of national importance - the historical area of the Archaeological Reserve - for science and our descendants in the courts: «Kitayevo within the limits of the settlement and three mound groups».

The Prosecutor’s Office has intensified its activities: searches were conducted at the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA), the State Architectural and Building Control (DABK), «Kyivzelenbud» (Kyiv Green Construction), «Kyivavtodor» (Kyiv Road Service), and the «Special Housing Fund».

After the May holidays, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office actively targeted the municipal enterprises and departments of the KMDA. Searches were announced simultaneously in several capital agencies

The lease of municipal property will continue to be carried out bypassing public tenders.

On Thursday, July 2, a meeting of the Kyiv City Council`s Standing Committee on Property was held. The subject of discussion among the city councillors was the new Law of Ukraine «On Lease of State and Communal Property» and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 483 «Some Issues of Lease of State and Communal Property» dated June 3, 2020, which interprets some of its provisions. The key issue was how to lease municipal property in the capital.

Repair of the «Krakiw» cinema: the roof, which cost 10 million hryvnias, is leaking, and with this contractor, Kyivkinofilm is preparing to conclude a new contract.

According to the contract signed on August 2, 2018, between the Municipal Enterprise of the Executive Body of the Kyiv City Council «Kyivkinofilm» and the winner of the tender for 74.3 million UAH (Ukrainian hryvnia), LLC «Integral Bud-Standard» represented by director Yerokhin D.V., the capital repair works in the premises of the «Krakiw» cinema were supposed to be completed within six months from the start. However, the repair started at the end of October 2018.
